Trip: September 1 - 15, 2010
Dance Weekend: September 3 - 5
We are very excited to announce that the 2010 WOW Line Dance Spectacular will be held in Shanghai, China, home of the World Expo 2010. Judy Chen is planning a fantastic trip that will include a post dance weekend tour of Bejing and Xi'an. You will be responsible for the plane ticket to China (arrive in Shanghai, depart from Beijing) and for securing a travel VISA. Register Now!
The WOW 2010 dance event starts 9/2 (Thursday night) with an open line dance party in the evening. Workshops starts on 9/3 (Friday) and will run through 9/5 (Sunday). We will be organizing entertainment at night for interested participants. On 9/3, we'll go eat dinner & see a show (similar to a Las Vegas show). On 9/4, we'll go on a cruise by the Bund, which is one of Shanghai's most famous tourist destinations. On 9/5, we'll have a dinner party with Karaoke & dancing to end the WOW 2010 dance event.
For those dancers who would like to tour China after the dance event, we are organizing a tour of China that will be from 9/8 to 9/15 (see details below). You will have two days prior to the trip (9/6-9/7) to tour Shanghai or see the World Expo. If you are interested going on the tour, we need a copy of your passport that shows your name, passport number, expiration date, and birth date so the travel agency can reserve tickets and hotel rooms. 50% of the cost is due by 6/1/2010 with the balance due by 6/15/2010 but let me know (email jyingchen@hotmail.com) if you will be attending the tour by 4/1/2010.
