I have now been Teaching Line dancing since 1996 and run classes in the Nottingham & Derby area in England. Dancing is a passion to me and I enjoy the different types of music and different steps and styles of dancing which we use today for line dancing.

I have danced since the age of 5 starting with Ballet, modern and tap, then progressing onto Jazz and a little Hip Hop before finally finding line dancing. In 1999 I starting competing in line dance competitions; winning first place with the `Universal' competition; and eventually progressing to world championship level in 2002 with the UCWDC. My main job at the moment is appearing as a Guest instructor/ Choreographer at different Line dance events around the world and sharing with all other dancers the steps I enjoy!

I have always been creative, I was at college in my earlier years studying Art & Design, and I previously owned my own restaurant and always enjoyed creating new tastes and dishes. However, today my creativity is used to develop the new dances I choreograph.

Over the years I have been overwhelmed to find that I have won a total of 11 `Crystal Boot Awards' at the `Crystal Boots Line Dance Awards' in the UK. The awards have ranged from, UK Choreographer, UK Instructor, Female Personality, Intermediate & Advanced dance of the year and also `Overall dance of the year'. Wow! Not just awards in the UK but in other countries too. `Female Choreographer of the year 2006' at the `Vegas Dance Explosion' USA and dance of the year in Australia with `Shakatak' a few years ago, (Still awaiting the award) ha ha!

I now hope to continue the work I do and hope to bring joy to the dance floor.
