Rosie Multari, an NTA Accredited Line Dance Instructor and certified Fitness Specialist and Gerontologist, has been teaching Line dancing in New Jersey since early 1993. Rosie and her husband Bruno also teach patterned partner dances and have taught at weekend workshops throughout the US & Canada. Until recently, Rosie taught 22 weekly classes specializing in teaching Beginners and Active Adults. She retired in 2005 to be the Granny/Nanny to their twin granddaughters but still travels to weekend workshops. Currently Rosie teaches a weekly class in her hometown, Bayville and monthly for the Jersey Girls in Point Pleasant, NJ.
Rosie's original dances have been published in several Country-dance magazines & publications. One of her dances, Stealing the Best, is an EZ dance to Celtic music danced around the world & To the Moon was published in Linedancer Magazine in 2006, To the Rock in 2007 and Ain't Gotta Hitch in 2008.
Since 2003's Summer Weekend, Rosie has been the Dance Coordinator for the Tim Gillis events and the Producer/Director of the Saturday Night Shows. Rosie & Bruno have been involved in Community theatre for over 20 years and really enjoy putting the shows together.
Rosie is a member of the Dancing for the Dream Team & works with founders Scooter Lee and Jo Thompson-Syzmanski to introduce line dancing to Active Adults as a fun way to exercise for a healthier, active lifestyle. She's a Board member of the Foundation & the creator of GRACE, a training program for instructors of Active Adults. Since 2004, Rosie has taught over 15,000 dancers at D4D events throughout the US. In the Fall 2008, Rosie traveled with Scooter Lee and Joanne Brady to Singapore & Malaysia and presented D4D and GRACE Programs to dancers from six countries.
